The Story

About Carlos

A husband. A father. A minister. A leader. A man who keeps running — not because the path is easy, but because the purpose is worth it.

Faith First

Everything in my life begins and ends with faith. Not the polished, Sunday-morning kind — the real kind. The kind that shows up when the lights go out and the answers don’t come easy.

Faith is the foundation. It’s the reason I still run when the race feels longer than I expected. It’s the quiet strength that has carried me through seasons of victory and seasons of deep struggle.

Family

I’m a husband and a dad to two amazing girls. They are the greatest mirror of grace I’ve ever been given. Fatherhood has refined me more than any boardroom or platform ever could.

Family is not a side note in my story — it is the center. The values I preach, the leadership I teach, and the faith I live are first tested and proven at home.

Leadership & Marketplace

My professional life has been spent in sales leadership and developing people — building teams, shaping culture, and helping others grow in skill and character. I’ve seen what happens when people are developed with intention, and what happens when they’re left to figure it out alone.

Leadership, for me, is never just about results. It’s about people. Developing people. Building teams. Creating impact that outlasts any quarterly number.

Ministry & Mentorship

I serve as a minister and pour into the next generation of leaders through mentorship. Whether from a stage, in a small group, or across a coffee table, the call remains the same: help people become who God called them to be.

Mentorship is not a program to me. It’s a lifestyle of investment. One conversation. One challenge. One encouragement at a time.

The Author’s Journey

Writing I Will Run came from a place of lived experience — the highs, the lows, the detours, and the grace that carried me through. I don’t just talk about faith, leadership, or perseverance. I live it.

My hope is that the words on the page become a companion for anyone who feels like quitting… and a reminder that the race is still worth running.
